Realme, powered by Oppo mobiles which are China-based, will be entering the Indian market for the first time and is hence a new brand for the Indian digital market. It is predicted that this phone will prove to be a tough competition for Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5, which is a relatively famous smartphone. This new smartphone, referred to as Oppo Realme 1, has a stylish design and will be available at an affordable price falling under the budget category. It has been evident from the statistics that even though Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo are all Chinese companies, Xiaomi has been dominating the smartphone market of India. Oppo believes that the tables will turn in their favor after the launch of Realme 1 as the phone will challenge its competitor by providing an affordable alternative. This phone is likely to be priced under Rs. 15,000. The other specifications of the phone, as informed by some other source, would be a 13MP rear camera with portrait mode and the front camera will be 8MP with portrait mode supported additionally. The screen would have a 6-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1860 pixels. The screen display would be as per the new 18:9 taller aspect ratio. The phone would have Oppo’s Color OS 5.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It will have some AI-driven features as has been a trend for Oppo phones. These AI features are especially used in phones for tuning selfies. The battery of the phone is said to be 3410mAh.
